Born in Russia, ARTASTAR founder Natalia Bashkatova trained at the prestigious Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow and Bolshoi Ballet University. She became a principal dancer for the prestigious Bolshoi Theater Grigorovich Ballet from 1989-1994 and immediately after was a guest principal dancer with the New York City Ballet. Her repertoire included many title roles in the great classics including Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, Kitri in Don Quixote, Swanhilda in Coppelia, Odette/Odile in Swan Lake among many others. Awards include "Best Ballerina of the Festival" at the 1992 Spoleto International Arts Festival held in Spoleto, Italy. She has toured worldwide to countries including Holland, Greece, Egypt, Hong Kong, France, and Belgium among many others. After moving to the United States, she joined the Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas as a lead dancer in Mystere. In 1998, she moved to Orlando to perform in Cirque du Soleil's "La Nouba" where she currently performs. She has been featured in numerous television commercials, interviews, and videos with Cirque du Soleil.  Bashkatova has over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry.


ARTASTAR management and production company is a Florida state leader in managing the careers and touring activities of the world's most prominent performing artists and institutions.  The company has been on the forefront of performing arts management and production, providing services to talented individuals in the ballet and music industries through professionally produced gala events highlighting its artists.


ARTASTAR is committed to producing exceptional dance productions with world-class artists. ARTASTAR’S vision is to discover, develop, and support artists and enrich the world through dance, music and other art forms.  

In addition to working with professional artists, ARTASTAR is committed to providing full support to future international professionals by giving selected young dancers the opportunity to be part of active projects, and maintains a close relationship with several American dance competitions, including the World Ballet Competition, Youth America Grand Prix and the American Dance Competition.  

ARTASTAR is also actively engaged in fundraising for local dance and music organizations.
